What is the difference between the Coast Guard and the Marine Corps in the game?
Are these Coast Guard uniforms all historical basis? I do not think the 19th century British troops have white uniforms, because they are generally red uniforms

Marines are on ships, coast guards defend the coastal fortifications.

Many foreign british troops did not have the "standard" issue uniforms. The british did not have designated coast guard units, like the french did (Just like they did not have customs like the french) so we had to choose something else. We could have selected a "normal" british line infantry regiment but we decided for St. Kitts instead. Reason for that is quite simple, St. Kitts militias primary purpose would be to defend the coast (Since it is a small Island...) so it would make a lot more sense to see them defend coastal fortifications and they also look more interesting than the boring old red you see everywhere.

thank you for your reply  :) :)
Because the British was responsible for the coast guard is also the Marine Corps. The role of the British Royal Marine Corps is great, not only in the warships on the service. They are also often stationed on land, and the Royal Marine Corps is also a long time as the British Empire colonial activities of the advance army. For example, during the American War of Independence, the Royal Marines were seen everywhere on the North American continent.

Apologies if I missed a point, but...

That being said this is an ongoing process and Holdfast: NaW will be a community driven project from now, through Early Access and into its full release.

Does this mean this game will still get updated regularly? For example, in the future when the game is out will there still be new features added and that sort of things?

Yes, of course! We very well understand that regular updates are important to keep the community active and interested in the game.
