I guess I should have said that it's not at all unrealistic to have companies from different regiments fighting along side each other. Companies very frequently fought detached from their battalion. In fact, it was standard practice in some armies to pool all the various grenadier companies into a mass grenadier 'regiment'.

My only point was that it was counterintuitive to have light infantry be represented by units traditionally thought of as heavy. But Highland regiments did have light companies, so it's not "unrealistic".

My question about the 95th Rifles is obsolete now that future developer blogs have been published (and now that I've played the game for myself).
