The crown used in the victory for both the british and french is COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!

This crown is the QUEENS CROWN!!!

For historical correctness, it needs to be dome shaped like this:

King George III will have your head for this...
Napoleon's bringing out the guillotine. Time for some heads to roll.

This needs to be fixed immediately or everyone will inherently become dumber as a result.
Thank-you for your attention.

Think of the children!

Edit: But seriously, I'm pretty sure the Tudor crowns use is pretty recent, St Edwards Crown is probably... the right one for the time period?

Seriously I rather see them adress something important first than just a small cosmetic abnomaly.... Something that is gamebreaking is the fucking friendly fire in Naval battles, I rather see them do something about that before fixing shit that doesnt matter, couldnt care less wats in the victory screen at the moment....

Something you need to understand is that this is an Art issue not one a programmer would do. A programmer would be the one to fix the friendly fire, not an artist. This is a simple art fix.

Game-breaking is a little over the top

There are several contemporary examples - before, during and after the wars - that argue in favour of the design chosen:

Gun barrel from 1810 preserved at CFB Shilo, Royal Canadian Artillery Museum; George III's cypher (bottom) features a crown with fallen arches.

Half crown silver coin minted in 1819; United Kingdom arms supplanted by a crown with fallen arches

Six pence silver coin minted in 1791; GR cypher sans roman numerals and crown with fallen arches

Quarter guinea gold coin minted in 1762; British arms before the acts of union of 1801, supplanted by a crown with fallen arches

The crown was stamped on basically everything used by the military and it always had 'fallen arches'.

I could be wrong, but from what I know the "fallen arches" crown is that of the Queen such as Queen Victoria, or Queen Elizabeth, the one that Heavy Bob is suggesting is the King's Crown which is used on all military, court, coat of arms of the British Empire when a king is reigning.

Hmmm I always thought it was fallen arches, but since I've been looking for graphic resource for our Regiment I found the contrary...

All these shakos are actual period pieces. The one thing that does stand out though is the 3 arm only setup for the crown. 1 central and two outer!

I don't think any of those are authentic (with the possible exception of the third one), but they all show what I was referring to.

All are either Museum pieces or own by the British Army!

Museums are full of fake items. The Musée de l'Armée has recently been coming clean about the fact that a huge part of its (world's largest) Napoleonic collection is 19th century fakes.

That stovepipe, for example, looks absolutely terrible. It bears no resemblance to any real ones I've seen. The plate also doesn't look like any naturally aged brass I've ever seen. And any time you see a Belgic shako passed off as original, there's a 99.9% chance it's a Victorian pageant piece.

Also the first two shakoes aren't in museums or owned by the army. Their fakes I easily found on a shady auction site.

In case anyone is intent on trusting museums, the following uniform is in a museum and presented as a genuine article.

I think that really says it all.
