This morning, at approximately 0930, a fleet of four Munificent-class star frigates - common among the illegitimate separatist secessionists in the outer rim - entered Republic airspace near the planet of Eriadu. With zero communication or word on their intent, the warships in question open fired on two unarmed cargo vessels heading to Coruscant harboring mining supplies and seismic equipment, killing innocents on board instantly. Soon after, at least two of the frigates launched several squadrons of droid star-fighters and began communications arrays near the planets surface in order to knock out Eriduian information relays. While this happened, our newly formed Grand Army of the Republic was scrambled and entered said airspace with two Venator-class star destroyers. Within 25 minutes, two of the separatist frigates our immobilized and all star-fighters were destroyed. Having lost only one pilot in the fighting our brave navy pursued and destroyed all but one of the frigates, and left the last remaining frigate nearly un-operational.
Due to this pathetic and scheming attack by this illegitimate core of planets, the Galactic Republic on this 29th day of November, 2017 BBY, hereby officially and unanimously declares war on the Confederacy of Independent Systems. All units within the Grand Army of the Republic are hereby being activated and placed in active service. Orders are forthcoming, and we shall make these traitors pay for this loss of life.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself.
