Russian shakos

There is some disagreement over which shakos the Russians should use when they are added to the game.

The first option is the flat-top, Prussian-looking shakos of 1805 and the earlier wars.

The other is the famous 1812 shako of the later war:

You forgot the 1808 shako, which was worn longer than either and overlaps with the use of the 1812/13 model.

The majority of the classes should sport the 1808 Shakos instead of the 1805 which would be obsolete, with the 1809 accoutrements such as him poms poms and plumes on the appropriate units, Grenade badges etc.

The 1812 was issued really in 1813 and Jackson already said that the stovepioe shakos are most likely. Keep in mind though it's the 1808s not the 1805s, and the 1808 shako by 1809 already looks like a flat version of the 1812.

The 1808 would be the most realistic choice for the classes, with the 1809 regulations.

Oof that version is shaped almost exactly like a French shako.

I added that option, I personally think Anvil should choose the most distinctive headgear, the 1805 shako looks almost identical to the Prussian shako and the 1809 one is very similar in shape to the French one. The 1812 version would set the Russians apart, especially if the Austrians have helmets, that way all 5 nations have noticeably different hats.

I feel like you may have rigged the poll by adding the ugly and objectively wrong 1805 hat.

Oof.

I could have really made things interesting by adding an option for 1799 uniforms:
