VOIP Mute not Unmuting on private server
« on: April 25, 2021, 08:42:53 pm »
Hi,

A player on our private regimental server (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders) was VOIP muted due to him spamming noises through his microphone. He was muted through the use of the 'P' menu. We have tried to subsequently use the server command: - rc serverAdmin voipUnmute (player ID) to unmute him again. This hasn't worked and the server doesn't recognize he is in fact still VOIP muted, it states after command input "Unable to VOIP-unmute player with ID: #3" seemingly it thinks he is not muted. Would appreciate some help with this one.

Thanks

You should have a list of banned and muted players in your server's files. You should check the dashboard provided by your server provider and just remove his SteamID from that document. Usually comes as a .txt file.
