Looking good. Glad to see desert maps and more going into the game, instead of just plains.
"Army Battlefield - Push back the enemy faction's troops until their reinforcements deplete. By depleting their reinforcements, players won't be able to spawn for that faction anymore. If you're still alive on the battlefield and your faction's reinforcements deplete, you will have to commit to your last stand! Players will also spawn in waves in this game mode."
Is this gamemode just the same as army assault but with reinforcements?

Yes. It is basically like a mix of Mount and Blades "Battle", any games "Team Deathmatch" and Battlefield's "Conquest". Each team spawns in waves at their respective spawns and not randomly over the entire map and tickets can be depleted by killing enemy players only (No capturable flags in this gamemode). We believe that it will result in more teamplay compared to the common TDM game modes.

I'd love to get the entire team together one day for a nicer picture.

Seeing as cavalry played a huge role in the Napoleonic Era, we’d very much like to have it in the game ourselves. We’ll be looking into cavalry after the game is out on Early Access. If you have any ideas or suggestions that relate to cavalry, go post on our feedback forum since that will help us plan ahead and gather more in-depth know-how of what the community would want to see from it.
So yes, it is all very much within our plans.
We will also be making our roadmap for the game publically available before the game is out on Early Access. The community will be involved in the decision as to which features are coded in first.

Man, I love how open these guys are. Never seen a studio that says "The community will be involved in the decision as to which features are coded in first." Like really people, hear that often?
Also Andrew, good stuff on that little piece of cav info. A rant topic will be up soon hopefully. ;D

Reading through this Interview makes me want to spend my money now and begin playing, of-course I would also like to thank the Developers for releasing this and giving us more of an in-site into the plans and future for the game, amazing work so far, keep up the good work.

I wonder if the next update will be about skirmishers of both musket and rifle variety?
