The Eagle Company
Facta Non Verba - Deeds, not words

What is the Eagle Company?

Inspired by the Aztec Eagle Warriors of yore and the French Imperial Eagle alike, The Eagle Company was thus formed as a special unit of hand-selected soldiers. Battle-scarred and well-versed in plying their  trade of war, these fateful few strive to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies and wreak havoc across the battlefield.

Founded as an alternative to the traditional regimental format, the free company consists of mercenaries, guerrillas, partisans, and other like-minded men who’ve taken up arms to rally under a shared ethos and banner of brotherhood. Fancying themselves ‘chevaliers’, this motley band of irregulars will lend their arms to bolster the ranks of fighting forces on the battlefield wherever they may be needed.

All members of the company hold the rank of chevalier and consequently there is no hierarchical structure. We are simply united in our common ambition to offer a new opportunity for those who do not wish to play as an individual or to align themselves with a specific regiment.

Current Members

Swordsman CharlieTwoFive
Known to many as the most deadly swordsman on the battlefield, Charlie strikes fear into any opponent he engages in melee combat and has forged one of the most extensive mercenary legacies in Holdfast. Whether he takes the guise of an officer or a surgeon on the public battlefield or as an auxiliary support line battles, you will be thankful to have this lethal master of the blade by your side.

Jon_Snow
A name that make men hold their breath and duck their heads as they traverse the field of battle, lest they be blasted to bits by the man himself. Jon_Snow stands as the longest serving soldier in the company, having borne witness to countless battles and accumulated a wide repertoire of experience in his career as an artilleryman.

Marquis de Lafayette
This famed marksman has often been mistaken for a species of endangered tree frog as he discreetly executes high-value targets at extraordinary distances. Do not be fooled however that his ability is merely restricted to that of using a rifle, he also possesses a unique talent with a pistol; swiftly ending the military campaigns of many foe before they have an opportunity to strike back.

Dúnedain
This bard of battle can be heard long before he is seen; the distant sounds of high-flown music serving as harbinger of his coming -- like that of thunder preceding a storm. Fleet-footed and light-hearted, Dúnedain is swift in his lightning strikes of steel, dealing out death to his enemies as well as meting out merriment to his brothers-in-arms.

Copperfield
The jack of all trades, and master of all. Possessing a natural affinity for battle, Copperfield has come to be known as a formidable foe in close quarter combat and long-distance shooting. Although versatile in his choice of weaponry and strategy, the man favours his trusted bayonet to make quick and bloody work of anyone foolish enough to cross steel with him.

Tenf
A ghostly sharpshooter capable of shooting the hairs off a fly, whether by rifle or musket fire, it makes little difference for Tenf’s steady aim. His presence on the battlefield looms like a shadow; ever present yet never able to be caught. With the sharp perception of a fox he continues to elude death, while at the same time, acting like the grim reaper himself.
