Battle Cry of Freedom [BCoF]
« on: March 09, 2019, 09:28:51 pm »
... shouting the battle cry of freedom!

Development on this game is picking up pace again, so I thought I'd get a discussion going here. Interesting to see what the Holdfast community thinks about this game.
For those who do not know, Battle Cry of Freedom (also known by its acronym, BCoF) is the first standalone project made by Flying Squirrel Entertainment (FSE), the studio behind the NW expansion for Mount & Blade: Warband. The game is a "linebattle-type" of game, and is set in the American Civil War. Members of the FSE team also contributed to Holdfast development.

The latest devblog on BCoF at the moment of writing, is devblog 40, where they talk about the sapper/engineer class, and show off some gifs on how the system is going to function.

The developers have also posted a few videos on their YouTube channel, showcasing different aspects of the game and some of the models.

If you want to follow the development of the game more closely, or want to ask some questions to the devs, you can join their Discord.
