Well I currently have an i7 something in 2000 version. and a AMD 7950 HD graphics card and I barely get 40 fps with everything maxed out. :c

I'm gonna game in 4k , but if I actually want maximum performance and I turn 4k off with everything maxed out, how much would it be?

Well with a large player count you are looking at about the same FPS in HD.
Without large player counts you are to be expected to be over 100 I guess.

20fps on on very low. This pretty much what I expected. But, there is no land texture and everything on naval maps looks like black mess.

Which program are you using to get that overlay? I've been trying to get MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner to work with Holdfast, but no luck.


- edit - Just to chip in regarding the subject of this thread: my fps on big servers when a lot of players are close together dives towards the 40s, on high to very high settings. I've tried reducing the settings to the Low preset, but it didn't change much. Even setting the number of ragdolls and the despawn times to their respective minimum did not improve performance. Not really a potato PC, but specs are in my signature.

What strikes me, is the large amount of VRAM being used. I've seen it go up to almost 3300 MB, which I think is very high considering I'm playing at 1080p.

It's in engine thing. F3 or F4 to turn it on.

So I have many, many crashing problems, as well as terrible FPS (around 10-15 FPS on lowest settings without vsync and without FPS lock). Here's my computer specs:
Windows 10
Intel Core i5-4460 CPU @ 3.2 GHz
8.00 Gb RAM
64-bit operating system, x64 based processor

My crashing problems occur at several points. The first one being whenever I load up the game, the "Oops" crash report is there. If I don't pay any attention to it, it doesn't do anything. But if I try to click on it to make it go away, it crashes the game.
The second crash occurs when I load up any server with Desert Ruins. That map always crashes the whole game for me.
The third crash occurs when I spawn on Tahir Desert. I cannot spawn in or spectate without crashing the game.
A fourth crash happens after I spawn in on Spanish Farm and Arendan River.
A fifth crash might happen after the round is over (whether it changes maps or not, it sometimes crashes).
On top of all of this, I cannot play fullscreen or 1920x1080 resolution because I get 10 FPS. I have to play at 1280x720 resolution, and even then, I still get less than 50 FPS.

Is there anything I can do to stop these crashes or help my FPS?
