Melee delay and feedback in general

I've noticed even on completely empty servers there is a delay before any block you do. This makes blocking really hard. I don't know if this was made to end melee quicker or whatnot, but it essentially removes blocking as a possibility because the enemy will just spam you to death, especially with a sword or sabre.

Add on top the lag if more than 50 people are on the server which makes melee quite the mess. This should be one of your top concerns right now, or you risk the chance of losing a lot of competitive appeal. I realize the game is Early Access so I am looking forward to improvements in that regard.

Graphics and sounds are gorgeous even on lower levels and I really like that you included a much higher bullet drop than for example NW had.

I have also noticed that blocking is not as instant as it should be. I spoke to the devs about this pre-EA and i believe they are looking into it.

One thing i should let you know, the melee system was actually worse before it came out in early access. So they dev's have been working on it and have been taking a lot of community feedback about it (As i've always said what needs fixed day in and day out lol)

Yeah the melee needs a lot of work still. Between delayed blocks and attacks and absurd hitboxes it makes having a proper 1v1/duel near impossible. Also, the up and down attacks look way to similar in my opinion, it's really a 50/50 shot to guess what attack they are going to do instead of actually reacting to it. If the blocking and attacking becomes more instantaneous (i.e. without delay) then the rest of the problems should be easy to fix. I am hoping to see the melee progressively improve but until then i will just be spamming people down with my flag.
