I think a key factor in choosing to be British is the fact that you know for certain your regiment won't retreat every engagement
But you can't handle coalitions just as good as we do
I'm sure it wouldn't take much, considering you lost the war.
We lost the 6th and the 7th Coalitions, won the rest. Always outnumbered by several factions, which is the whole point of a coalition. Its the same as if I say France won the World War one and two, and take some pride from it, while we couldn't have do shit without the help of the other nations involved. ^^
Ye, because you were bigger, richer, had better commanders (Aside from the British - generally), far superior equipment and world-class training (compared to Eastern Europe). The Austrians, Russians and Prussians had a few muskets, couple of militiamen and a fistful of economic/social problems.
British were of course were HEAVILY outnumbered in Spain/Portugal during the 1809 campaign, even more so than they were in 6th coalition.
